Graphic Design
Whether it's a brochure, a newspaper ad or a billboard, we design materials that look great and make an impact. We focus on your audience - creating designs that engage the public and achieve your goals.

Building on a strong lineage of activist design, our work reflects a range of styles and influences. We put our experience as designers and fine artists to work for the public-interest, creating a strong message for your program, campaign or event. And we work to maintain the integrity of your organizational identity through every piece we design.

We also can create easy to use toolkits, templates and interactive resource guides. These tools make it easy for you to create professional materials in-house, and to get activists and volunteers all over the country the resources they need.
Our pricing is designed to fit the needs of public interest organizations’ budgets as well. If you have a budget in mind, please let us know ahead of time and we’ll try our best to accommodate it.

If you’re not sure and need an estimate, we can provide that as well. While all of our print design work is custom-priced, we estimate most jobs at 25% of the Graphic Artists Guild "Ethical Pricing Guide" suggested budget, making great design possible in your organization's budget. And when a project is completed you always retain ownership of the design.

Our Process:

  • First we review your Project Request Form and set a project schedule and budget.
  • Typically we develop 3 different concepts for every project. Concepts are different ways to tell your story visually.
  • Once you choose a concept, we work through 3 rounds of edits and revisions until your project is ready to go to print.
  • Design for Social Impact provides full management of printing, production and delivery. We also offer professional research, copy-editing, writing and photography as needed for your project.
