Population Action International
Congressional Briefing Packet and CD-Rom
The Problem
With a broad coalition and two year's worth of research on the
impacts of the Global Gag Rule on the health of women and children world-wide,
Population Action had a huge body of research but no cohesive package
to present it to decision-makers.
The Solution
First we crafted an identity that gave a strong message to the
entire project. Access Denied: The Impacts of the Global Gag Rule. Then
we developed an interactive CD-Rom that showcased a compelling documentary
about the Gag Rule, and packaged it in a sophisticated briefing packet
that would grab the attention of decision-makers.
The Result
The project has toured conferences and events in Brussels, Addis-Abbaba,
Johannesberg and Buenos Aries, drawing calls from local activists for
help crafting their own outreach materials. The first run of packets ran
out in a month, and Population Actions International press conference
drew media attention worldwide.
