Web Design
For non-profits, artists and the public interest, the web holds extraordinary potential: Mobilize thousands of citizens with a single email; use music, video, and images to tell the story of your work; build your organizational capacity through streamlined databases and downloadable resources.

Design for Social Impact works with you to dream big - but also to create a site that is appropriate for your audience, your goals, and your budget. From development of a site map to custom-design, we work with you every step of the way to create a website that will advance the work of your organization online.

We offer several levels of service and price ranges that fit your different budgets, and can help with site-hosting, ongoing maintenance and content development. Every site is different and is custom priced.

All our websites are designed so that your audience can always view them, and we support your work through innovative site launch and promotional strategies to drive traffic to your site.

Our Process:

  • We’ll review your Project Request Form and meet with you to set a project budget and schedule.
  • We complete a thorough review of your site map, developing an infrastructure for your site that serves your needs now and allows for the future growth of your organization and programs.
  • Typically, we then create 3 design concepts for the website. Concepts are different ways of telling your story visually.
  • Once you choose a concept, we develop a full storyboard for the site, and move through drafts and revisions until the site is ready to post. We can support your work with writing, editing, photography, and development of databases and interactive elements that compliment the site.
  • When you approve the final site for posting, we either get it online and hand it over to you to maintain, or we enter into a long-term maintenance agreement that can save you time & budget.
